Ajmer is one of the major tourist city in the Indian state of Rajasthan due to its ancient history. It is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains. It is popularly known for The Ajmer Sharif Dargah a shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is also known for the base of visiting Pushkar.

The Ajmer Sharif Dargah:

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty Dargah of Sufi saint is known as Ajmer Sharif Dargah or Ajmer Sharif is situated in Ajmer city of Rajasthan. Ajmer Sharif Dargah is 2 KM far from the main central Ajmer Railway station and situated at the foot of the Taragarh hill, and contains some white marble buildings around two courtyards, including a massive gate donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad known as Nizam Gate and the Akbari Mosque, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra:
It is a mosque in the Ajmer city of Rajasthan. It was constructed by Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak, on orders of Muhammad Ghori, in 1192 CE. It is about 3KM far from Ajmer sarif Dargah.

Soniji Ki Nasiyan:
Ajmer Jain temple is also popularly known as Soniji Ki Nasiyan is famous for its beautiful architecture. The main chamber of Ajmer jain temple is popularly known as swarna nagri due to its some gold plated wooden figures. This is the main attraction for jains in the Ajmer city and there is also a museum behind this temple which is also known as svarana nagara hall. Jain temple and museum both are built by sony family of Ajmer and still they managed it.

Mayo College:
Mayo College is independent boarding school in Ajmer, Rajasthan for boys only. It is one of the oldest independent boarding school in India founded by Richard Bourke in 1875. This public school was biult by british for the childrean of Indian upper class family to provide him a world class education.
